Globalisation and Intercultural Leadership Programme

Background

The Globalisation and Intercultural Leadership Programme is AFLIGA’s initiative for preparing leaders who can navigate the complex intersection of global systems and African cultural heritage. It promotes the integration of indigenous African values—such as communalism, accountability, respect, and ethical stewardship—into contemporary governance, diplomacy, and enterprise leadership.
GILP responds to the growing demand for leaders who can operate confidently in global spaces while remaining grounded in local wisdom, identity, and practice. It positions intercultural competence as a core ingredient for effective leadership in an era marked by rapid globalisation, technological disruption, and shifting geopolitical landscapes.
